Refund policy
To make a return, you can contact me at support@bombayclaycompany.com. Please make an unboxing video when you open the box to ease communication and verification of a product.
To initiate the return process, please follow the instructions below:
- You can return the product within 3 days after the delivery date under the specified conditions.
- Reasons for return include: Genuine manufacturing defects or damages during transit or wrong item has been shipped.
- Refunds will be issued as per the claiming refund policy mentioned below.
- My products are handmade, resulting in slight variations in color tone, shape, or size, which are not regarded as defects and are not eligible for return. If, however, you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns are at the discretion of Bombay Clay Company.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Ensuring the packaging is of utmost importance to ensure the product reaches back to me without any damage.
Once your return request is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label that you must stick on the packed box. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted. The return shipping charge and a 25% restocking fee is to be borne by the customer. I will help make the pickup using the logistics company.

Damages and issues
I pack the products with great care and multiple layers of bubble wrap and cushioning. Please make an unboxing video when you open the box to ease communication and verification of a product getting damaged during delivery. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label that you must stick on the packed box. Once the return for a damaged good is accepted, the refund will be made and processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Items showing any signs of damage will not be eligible for a refund. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days upon receipt of the product back to my workshop. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since the product has reached me, please contact me at support@bombayclaycompany.com.
Cancellations
For order cancellations, I will require a notification via email within 12 hours of placing the order on support@bombayclaycompany.com. Once the order has been shipped, cancellations cannot be accepted. I regret to inform you that refunds cannot be processed for orders canceled at the doorstep or in cases where our delivery partner has made three unsuccessful delivery attempts.
